I know I'm not the only person that is blown away by the fact that Joshua starts out in the church of the Rev. Al Green and finishes with Otis Redding. The control he has of those notes at the end of each phrase is stunning.

I agree with all of ya'll .. that's how we do down in the Lone Star State. I was probably at that same club on that same night. My favorite song by the Cure.

This song is amazing. My dad turned me on to this stuff because he lived it in the 50's. So many bands borrow from this and they don't even know it. Check out "Creep" by Radiohead and imagine it being done doo woop style. Fits don't it?

I love every song on this album. And this track may be my favorite of the lot.

This is my favorite track from this record. And that is saying something because this is one of the best albums from start to finish that i have heard in years. I had the pleasure of interviewing the band and SXSW and it just made me love them more.

This may be my favorite song by Rush. I love the fact that they dialed into the ska/reggae vibe that the Police and others were using at the time and turned it into a heavy song that fit seamlessly into this album.

I love this cat. He's the reason I play telecasters and why I love being from Texas. Check out the track "Brown Sugar" on ZZ Top's First Album. If don't light your fire, your wood's wet.

i saw this tour in Houston back in the day. It was awesome. They were about two hours late starting the show but it was well worth it.

I saw them two years ago at SXSW and it was intense. The drummer basically walked off stage and threw up behind the club. Awesome.

Easton could play for the song like no one else. I love his stuff .. wish I could play like him.

Maybe he didn't get mom and dad's looks but his talent is incredible. that will take him much further than being a great looking douche in high school.

Elton and Bernie at the top of their game. He's a little goofy now but people forget what a force he was back then. Also, I think that this was the first album to debut at number one on Billboard in 1975 ( I think, but don't quote me on that).

full disclosure: Although I have been aware of Minor Threat and how important they were to American punk movement, I just heard their version today for the first time. And then discovered this track minutes later. Minor Threat wins because like bioshockt points out .. Minor Threat settles it.
