@jjtrucks i dont think they cant make you buy ur own gear. if you dont like the provided gear, you can upgrade do a different brand or something but that you would pay for. Same goes for helmets, gloves, hoods, etc. im pretty sure they cant make u buy gear

@EngulfedSix it is so much fun. ive been one for a year now and i cannot stand how much fun it is!!! i am 15 now so i got awhile till i can be active but im going through emt this summer. just remember to have fun with it

i am proud to be one of those 1,200,780 fire fighters. i feel bad for anyone who doesnt get the chance to go lights and sirens to a fire call cause it is the best feeling in the world for me and im sure every other fire fighter around

@mrengine9 ya ur right. but this is waaaay before there was those OSHA and other places that i dont know the name of rules. Long ago, people were riding to calls on the hose bed. but then again, that was like the 70's like this show. I think this takes place in the 70's
