Fantastic! One of my all time favourite bass-lines and one of my favourite bass-players. Andy was the back bone of the Smiths. No more drug abuse I hope...

Michael Dempsey really takes off at the end of this song. I´ve heard hundreds of versions of 10:15 - this one is without questioning the greatest. It would be nice to see more Cure-performances with this line-up.

Wonderful bassline. I learnt it (poorly) yesterday and it´s been on my mind constantly for the last 24 hours, even in my sleep...You play it very well! Andy Rourkes bass-playing is extremely innovative. Give us more Smiths covers, please!

One of my favourite bass-lines. You play it perfect! The chorus part is extremely difficult to play, I think, it´s just like its own melody within the song itself. Show us more of Andy Rourke...

Incredibly beautiful bassline (and difficult, at least at the chorus) on this song. I love it! Andy Rourke, one of the most underrated bassists.

One of the cruelest basslines ever made! Andy Rourke was the backbone of the Smiths. Johnny Marrs guitar-figures are often fairly simple and stereotype but the bass-lines are always extraordinary, beautiful and gives an extra dimension to the songs.

You are truly one of my favourite bassists! And since I started playing bass myself I dicovered - to my surprise - that many of your basslines are pretty easy (and fun) to play. My all time favourite is Theme for great cities - would it be possible to show us how it should be played?
This song is in my opinion one of Micks best performances. I just love his "solo" towards the end - how do you come up with that melody? Thank you for all your strange but beautiful basslines and for all the time that I´ve spent trying to figure out what you are playing!
