3. Evolution explains death other than caused by sin therefore doing away with the need for a savior. As Christians we have eternal life because He took the cause for our death (=sin) away.

2. Evolution denies the existence of sin as its death - causing effect on man. This is an important doctrine of Christianity. The wages of sin is death, Rom. 6,23. Without sin there is no death. That is why we needed a savior who took our sin upon Himself and therefore died in our place and now His righteousness is applied to us. 2. Cor. 5,21.: For he hath made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

What I had in mind was the biblical sequence: man => sin => death. God created man, man sinned, death came after sin.

Evolutionary sequence is: death => man. Survival of the fittest / death of the weaker caused mans existence. Death is the means of natural selection.
