Would have been even more beautiful if Mr Koopman would have sticked to Bach's own recommendation (Principal 8 for the manual...).

Beautiful ! But why a 1st movement so slow ? I think Bach wrote "vivace" (except for the few "adagio" introductory bars)... could you explain your point of view ?
