why game 163? wasn't it the last game of the season (#162)? i thought if Toronto had won the game, they would have played another game to decide the champion.

mdumas43073-I agree. I was 14 then too! The loss to the Twins did suck, but that last week of the regular season was great. Started with Gibson's home run at Toronto the week before that. I still can't believe George Bell won the MVP. This 1-0 win by Tanana was one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah, the drums started to give the cue for the foldout, and some people went for it. Even messed up Carl Grapentine. I was in this band in the early 90's, and I prefer our slower tempo of the sweeplines and trio.

Can someone from this era tell me if the trumpets playing through the holds in the last few measures of M Fanfare is someone being selfish, or was it sanctioned by Becher? Nice Fanfare M.

Wow, "sacred tradition", "cheesy low brass"? When i was in the band, Gary Lewis used to complain about people berating him for holding certain notes in M Fanfare a fraction of a second too long. How about accepting that things change over time?
