I wonder if Dixie will ever catch on to the fact that TNA got on Spike because of the wrestling, and that the tremendous fan loss they've experienced in the last three years is the result of Vince Russo's philosophy and take on pro wrestling and his preposturous creativity.

I don't know if it's me, or if there's not much solidarity in wrestling anymore! The counter was too phony and contribed, but I guess they didn't use the cliche counter where he just mysteriously slips out. They could've at least tried elbows and knees before anything else.

@jojajo301 Well truthfully, after Owen's death in late of 96, his work was filtered at the time so it wasn't all him. With that being said, it's either coincidence or causation that WCW was winning in the Monday night wars until they let Russo in after being let go.
