in my experience as a former shop owner..toyota diesel engines are a pain in the ass.. compared to mitsubishis old 4d56 engine.. toyota breakdown faster and is a lot more expensive to repair...dagdag mo na overheating... of course i was referring to old engines..not the new ones..

if you notice the brake lights on the montero before it accelerated...the montero has an automatic transmission the foruner has manual..unfair test. it"s the reason why the montero can"t burn rubber..fortuner on manual even without modification will win acceleration test..

that is slow for a 2.0 you accelerated at 10kmph and it took you about 11 seconds to reach 100kmph.. try starting from a standstill i bet it will take you 13 sec. to reach 100kmph.
