Well the edge of the board gets wet normally anyway so I don't think it would do anything. Also the edges are made of aluminum on most boards and that doesn't rust.

I just saw them in Knoxville Sunday night also and the kicked ass compared to Saving Abel and Buckcherry. They are one of the best bands in my opinion.
