About Me:
What's in a name?
It all started out in 2007 when I first started the video interest. I had just started studying my Media Diploma at North West Kent college in Dartford. I developed here the core basic skills of videos capabilities and structures and knew I wanted to make my own. I was looking up Liam Neeson for one of my projects and found this image which went onto trigger the idea of calling my YouTube 1yellowapple and the name just stuck really.
As of 2008 I started studying
photography (same institute) with one core idea in mind to have a specialism, inspired by my favoured tutor to expand on this side of skills I carried out two years of study (BTEC completed with DDM credit) with the sole purpose to understand how the camera works, flows and allows to be like a window for the un-drawable. Having had a interest in art and design this was a easy transition to go towards. Knowing that gaining this knowledge and skill would prove useful for my own freelancing.
In 2010 I had the final exhibition for my mask collection (Romeo and Juliet) who's theme has been re-occurent within my work at uni and in a wider contextual sense.
In the September of 2010, I joined Canterbury Christ Church university and currently study Film, radio and television studies ( Directing, Sound and Editing specialisms) . Again this path choice was set to widen and yet specialise in three areas that I wish to do within the production crew, why have loads of people when you can do it yourself.
