THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING HUMBLE AND KIND:
"And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in INSOLENCE through the earth. Verily, ALLAH DOES NOT LIKE ANY arrogant boaster."
(31:18) Al-Quran Al-Kareem
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) described the believer as one who is friendly, and stated that there is NO GOOD in one who is neither friendly nor treats in a friendly manner.
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) also said that Allah loves gentleness in EVERY matter.
Additionally, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) warned us that even a SPECK of arrogance in ones heart WILL PREVENT them from entrance to Paradise.
May Allah save us all from the hell fire. Ameen!!!

SIGNS OF A KAFER (HYPOCRITE) ACTING AS MUSLIM:
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:
There are three characteristics of a hypocrite: when he spoke he told a lie, when he made a promise he acted treacherously, and when he was trusted he betrayed.
