Yvonne Chantell Wiley A.K.A. Lyric (born September 12, 1991) is an American R&B singer/songwriter. Born and raised in Chicago Illinois, Lyric has been singing every since she popped out the wound. Lyric was born and raised in house full of musicians, Lyrics parents owned a full equipment studio in the basement of their home. At the age of 7 Lyric and her two cousins decided to start an all girl music group that's when she wrote her first song called "Boy You Feel So Salty". The singing group last for about four years then girls decided to be solo artist. All through Lyric's childhood she constantly performed, she won over 15 talent shows and Featured in her school plays. Lyric is not only and singer but she is also a very talented musician, Lyric's first instrument she learned to play was the piano at the age of 6. At age 11 Lyric's father had bought her, her first guitar for Christmas which she taught her-self to play. Lyric writes her songs like diary entries everything she writes about she's experienced that's what makes her a great writer. Lyric didn't have it all growing up, her parents divorced when she was 10 then everything went wrong. Her parents sold the mansion they were living in, they were moving from house to house, Lyric's grades started to slip, she kept getting into trouble and fights in school, she skipped school a lot, and she was also in and out of the Audi home. In 2006 Lyric's freshman year of high school she made the worst mistake, dropping out of school. But that didn't slow her down, Lyric started to take every tragic she been through and turned it to something good by putting it into a song. Later on in the years Lyric joined a music group named "Get It Squad" they labeled her as the First Lady, as in now she still maintains her title in the group. Currently Lyric's plans are to finish school and get a degree in Music and Producing. Lyric's goal in this music industry is to be a Multi Platinum selling artist that everyone would admire and NEVER forget.......... #GET IT?
