@RoseLoriel It is pure Karl Jenkins, and although parts of it might sound a little like parts of various pieces by Vivaldi, it is distinctly different overall. This piece was used in a De Beers Diamond commercial at one time, so it might seem familiar for that reason.

@gabby63929 It was added-in for this version. The little introductory vocals and the end sax are not on the original Adiemus song. It stands up pretty well without them.

@JSViola93 No, it isn't bad at all. There is no single correct violin bow hold. Her method works quite well for her (and for a few others). Certainly, one can't argue with the results, as her playing is simply amazing.

@soccerbug94 Nope, Mairead just uses that method of holding the bow to get the kind of power and sound she wants from her 300+ year old violin. It may not be how some people hold the bow, but from the results, it is obvious that it works very well for her.

@LizThinksSianISSad The "words" don't have any meaning at all. Jenkins even says ""The text was written phonetically with the words viewed as instrumental sound, the idea being to maximise the melisma (an expressive vocal phrase) by removing the distraction, if one can call it that, of words."

@SwedishSeraphim Susan McFadden is definitely not just a "stand-in"; she is now the newest highly-talented member of Celtic Woman. I hope when Lisa Kelly comes back, they keep Susan in the lineup to renew the full 4-vocalist configuration of the group.

@giorgiamiscia How can she? It is quite difficult, but not impossible (at least for Mairead it isn't). Go to a Celtic Woman concert and sit in one of the very front rows. You can see her do this for yourself (and try the video of Granuaile's Dance if you want to *really* see her flying around ...

@TheElvoz Yup, she can and does play that well while running and jumping. Once you see her do this live in-concert from close range, there will be no doubt in your mind that she can indeed do this. She is simply amazing.

I don't have to be "impressed" with them musically or have their music not "dumbed down" (whatever that term is supposed to mean). All I require is that I like what they do. They have rarely failed in that regard. In fact, their newest 'Believe" special I judge to be their best DVD performance...

This was a magnificent gift from Celtic Woman to their fans here in the states. I heard this live at my first Celtic Woman concert, and I doubt there were many dry eyes in the place when they finished the song. It is a simply wonderful piece of music which touched the heart and soul of everyon...

@etherealwinds Nope, no autotune here (she just has that superb level of control). Chloe sang it this way has been able to sing this well from the beginning.

@gknkbowden Yup, I have seen them live four times (twice last year with the fifth time coming in April). As good as they are in clips like this, they are even better live! If you can possibly get to one of their concerts, go, as it is an experience you won't soon forget.
