The 1946 version with Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, Anne Baxter, John Payne etc..was a wonderful, elegant movie, beautifully acted and directed. This new version was terrible and Bill Murray was totally miscast as Larry, he belongs in silly comedies only not in a movie based in a classic novel!
