Animated Snack Bar Intermission film

An animated snack bar intermission film from the late 1950s or early 1960s. This one is pushing Dr. Pepper.

To mhirtes 12: Yes, that is a sick irony. You'd think they could've saved the screen tower and advertised on it, or, saved the snack bar and used it for storage? At least you've got a high tech building there that does serve a purpose. Far too often these magnificent drive in theaters are demo...

Drive in intermission films

Classic 9 minutes of Drive-in intermission films on a Drive-in movie screen. " You now have 9 minutes till showtime".

I especially enjoyed the sound track. It sounded just like I remember. Also, you played some of the all time classic clips and it's nice to be able to click on entertainment such as this. I'm seriously concidering giving up TV, after all, now that You Tube is showing uncut episodes of several ...

Abandoned Hill-Top Drive In Joliet, Illinois

Abandoned Hill Top Drive In. Closed since 2001 with no plans to reopen. This clip shows the slow decay of this once entertainment center.

The HILL TOP sure looks like it used to be THE place to be. The narration, when it poped up, was nice. The trees in the field were weird. Yeah, those abandoned drive ins get a bit creepy but I for one am glad you posted the video!

The drill and pipe company gets kudos for retaining part of the Marion, but, the business looks a bit shabby. That projection booth in back was wierd. The soy bean field at the old Galion was also weird, and, it seems to be in better shape than the Marion. If soy bean prices ever fall off the c...

It was nice to see all those classic cars roll through the ticket booth. To jd starlit 27: I'll agree that the interviews in part one are probably THE highlight of this 2 part clip, but, i liked part 2 better because it showcased the classic cars more. The building falling down at the end was a ...

I'm looking forward to checking out your Wisconsin drive in site. To Exarian: Yeah, we tend to take for granted these places that we thought would always be there. I had a drive in about 2 miles from my house, and figured it would always be there. You can be commended for getting a marker put ...

Did any one notice that the portion of the screen left on the lower right kinda looks like the state of Texas? Maybe that's like looking at clouds? I too enjoyed the goofy commentary and commented earlier that you should add a laugh track.

A lot of people look down upon Public Access TV shows. I know that there is a lot of crap on those channels, but, Outdoor Moovies looks like it was a well put together show on one of my favorite subjects. I've never seen an old movie at a drive in. Amercan Grafitti must have come out in the ea...
