Paul Brand is an ambitious singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Pauls passion for singing and song writing began at an early age with influences from Rock, Blues, Soul and Country.
During a process of development, working professionally in the music business, Paul has written over 300 songs, performed live with a wealth of musicians, gained vast experience of studio session work and travelled extensively.
Musical Highlights so far include, Posting live performance on YouTube of Christmas song "What Do You Want For Christmas" Recording solo CD entitled "Songs For Our Times". Appearing live on Insight Radio's Jill Daley show. Providing songs for short Becky Lambert film "For Better Or Worse", Winning song-writing competition to support former Beatles drummer Pete Best. Playing with Celtic Rock band Cranachan at the Lorient Festival, Britani France. Working in the Middle East, putting on a one man show in Bahrain. Touring Norway with The Sandy Brechin Band. Touring Germany playing Scottish and Irish music with The McGlumfers. Fronting Mr Pitiful Soul Band, singing classic soul covers.Gigging in Nashville, New York City, Boston and San Francisco. Singing live with The Scottish Blues Brothers at Murrayfield Stadium event. Shooting promotional video for The Sundogs at BTM Studios in Bedfordshire.
