JAZZ CITY-TV

In 1979 "JAZZ CITY-TV" began recording live JAZZ & BLUES concerts in the exclusive clubs and back streets bars of Philadelphia, New York City and world wide. We edited that RAW footage into half-hour broadcast and cable ready programs. "JAZZ CITY-TV" first began cable casting in New York City on Manhattan & Teleprompter CATV, the shows could not air in Philadelphia because the city was not wired for CATV at the time, and the Internet was in it's early development, and not ready to pick up what Jazz City TV, was putting down.

In 2008 Jazz City -TV will take you to the RUFUS HARLEY memorial services with interviews of band members and one of his last performances.
Future clips will include rare interviews, and concert footage SUN RA,SHIRLEY SCOTT, MILES DAVIS, JIMMY OLIVER,BYARD LANCASTER,AL GREY,MONNETTE SUDLER,KHAN JAMAL,ODEAN POPE AND OTHER GREAT GIANTS OF JAZZ,BLUES AND MUCH MORE.
