@SuperYouGerT but to say miles didnt move jazz forward is ignoring his cool jazz of the early 50's, hard-bop with coltrane and the first great quintet, and then the post-bop of the second great quintet, THEN came funk, till then it WAS jazz and he was (a part of) moving it forward
