Spearfisher and Scuba diver based on the Kapiti coast of New Zealand, about 1 hours drive North of Wellington and on the West coast. Kapiti conditions can be variable with Southerly winds bringing in cold low viz water, and Northerlies over summer bringing in 30m+ 19 degree heaven. I mostly dive in a 2 piece 3mm suit - but winter times submit to 2 piece 5mm. Blue water hunt with a 4 rubber harpoon, but the guncam footage here is from a 100mm cressi carbon fibre single rubber gun which is great for shooting 90% of the fish in these waters. My wife is into Fishing and regularly catches bigger and more fish than me. Haven't managed to get a speargun in her hands yet, but shes been for the odd snorkel. Other past time of late has been the building of my 21m scalextric digital track which is an ongoing project.

Freediving has always been a huge part of my life, I pretty much count down the days until summer and you can feel it approach - It almost roars in your ears until it all envelops me, and I am back in my quiet weightless blue world, always searching for that perfect moment and the perfect drop.
