The black thing you saw is could be just the shadow from her hand (after the zoom up, seeing that how it matches the hand movement). It could be that she is just shy, try to cover her face and then mumble....

I wonder if you listen to the original jap audio/ english dub/other language dub. Anyway, adding some of their voice would helps to display how annoying the voices are.
