Good engine choice mate!! This will turn heads and create a lot of raised eyebrows when you open the bonnet! I've got a shelby cobra rep with 1uz in. Have had a few "different" reactions from people. Goes like a cut cat and will do forever so it's a no-brainer really. Keep up the good work.

That's a Shelby Daytona Coupe. I would say it is a Superformance one. Factory Five in America also do a kit version. They are both very nice cars! An authentic one sold a while back for about $7m. Ouch!!

That would be a 1926-1928 Whippet. The 1929-1930 radiator did not widen at the bottom like this one, it was more straight at the sides, similar to a Model A Ford. Also the wheel base would be shorter than the later model '29, and the dash is different. A bit of trivia for you!

That engine looks good in there but remember the lexus engine is 6 bolt mains efi and will last much longer than a 308 and would be more horsepower too! What is a standard 308? 220-240hp? 1uzfe-260hp standard and you can chuck on a turbo (or two) or supercharger for 800hp without touching anythi...

Depends on which engine you have. If it is a crown engine they have separate ecu for auto. My engine/auto was controlled by a single ecu which I had to "trick" into thinking it was in neutral so I could run a manual box. Awesome! I have read a bit about this cobra. 1 uzfe lexus engine. I am currently building one with the same running gear as this. Nice light engine and good power for your money! (with plenty of room for improvement!). I also live in NZ.
