I had to stop listening to this. The opinions may have been interesting and informative, but the reporter's voice is like fingernails on an old-fashioned blackboard. Jeez! (and not very bright, either)
I recently read this story at a children's book event in Oman, me in English; my partner in Arabic. Maybe 50 kids sitting on the floor around us. They all sat with big eyes, listening.
I also read it some time ago to an ESL adult class. The tough kid in the class almost climbed onto my lap.
Thank you so much for this, as one teacher to another. Science Daily today had an article on the "invasion" of the Antarctic slopes by king crabs, and I wanted to learn more about them. Yours was extremely informative, and I know how much work it took to do it. Great job, and thank you.
