Why would they fake a crash in Shanksville and not plant any wreckage? My guess is they had to do it in a hurry. Who knows why? I'm sure the terrorists who did it know. You should ask them. Claiming only thirty-something passengers were on the plane is another indication they were rushed. The US Airways Flight that landed in the Hudson (a much smaller plane) had 155 people on board.
