Ron Paul has no hope of doing anything more than splitting the vote and getting Hillary or Obama elected.

My vote's with Mitt Romney. He's the smartest one in the field.

You need to listen to what he said. It's not flip-flopping. He's saying he won't let HIS beliefs color what is right. He is a strong leader and the best one of the bunch, imho. He's certainly the only one with a business background who can turn this country around before we flush ourselves big time.

Yes, I totally agree. The PROBLEM is that NO third party candidate will ever be elected president under the current system. If Ron Paul runs as an Independant, he will get at least 20% of the vote. Not enough to get elected, but enough to usher Hillary or Mohammed Obama into the White House.

My concern is the economy, and the best person for that job, is Romney. I agree with Iribox21--either is better than the any of the Democratics. My biggest fear? That Ron Paul will be the spoiler, drawing votes that would have gone to the Republican candidate, and shoehorning Hillary back to the WH.
