I resent this "relationship status" using the word, "taken". I'm not an object. I've been happily married for over 28 years. The choices of "Single, Open or Taken" I find degrading to the marriage covenant, which my husband and I both enjoy.
I'm a mother and grandmother to very gifted and wonderful children who have grown into great friends. I enjoy YouTube for the vast variety of available programming, from today's congressional reports to the early Beatles recordings. I also like the German band Nu-Matix (Manuel rocks!) I have a son who plays acoustic guitar; another son who is a sculptor/artist/graphic designer; a daughter who is an actor and opera singer, and a son who is a computer whiz (computer science graduate) married to another opera singer (I'm still trying to learn to appreciate opera. I'm not quite there yet, sadly.) My husband is a musician who plays several instruments, mostly woodwinds and brass, and he's an electrical engineer and brilliant inventor with several patents. I'm a photojournalist and I enjoy costume design, film and film festivals and raw foods.
