I think the mathematician needs to factor in aesthetics, like the Golden Ratio in beauty. Also, human brains tend to create illusions of patterns in random data. Even if the music is random, it won't appear that way - which undermines the premise that random equals ugly.

Wow, looks both familiar and unfamiliar to today's route since I didn't exist at the time of the Expo. I guess the biggest difference is the number of cars on the road, especially at the beginning. Normally that area is super busy.
