A big difference is that Jerry Could Play through a series of chord changes with different key centers, whereas Steve stays stuck in one key all the time and has yet to demonstrate that he can handle changes
Steve does have Jerry on tone, though
Steve Kimock Is Overrated. THis blues playing is pretty mediocre.
HIs phrasing is very stiff, and he is playing some pretty boring lines when you compare this to the many other blues legends
This playing would sound impressive if it was someone who was playing for 5 years
