Hi Craig, In the UK our national power grid supplies domestic power at 240volts 50hz, I bought the inverters to match the supply. These type of inverters are designed to connect directly to the mains power from solar or wind, they don't have a low battery alarm.

Thanks for your comments. The solar energy in my (GRID TIED) system feeds straight to the mains supply: to supplement the power being supplied to my property, my meter will slow down and even stop. I also have a battery storage system for excess energy storage.

I've also had problems with GTI's not just PJ's. In my view any system must have extra protection built around it; plan your system carfully don't just throw it together. The PJ's suffer from having to much power to deal with; I run mine at 50% max rating and they are fine. The main thing to reme...
