Even though this car is rally inspired in it's design, it's still not a rally car. A true rally car has been heavily modified for strength both mechanically and structurally. All this amounts to is a bunch of people that think it's funny to severly abuse and destroy an otherwise excellent car.

I agree with you. Chevy, Ford and Mopars all have plenty of fan clubs. They have all won their fair share of races, and continue to do so. Like you said. Whenever a race is between an import and an American car, I always cheer on the Chevy/Ford/Dodge . They are all Awesome and I love all of them.

Maybe the clutch was already shot on the subaru. He could have easily gone 12's or 13's. Drag racing like that does wonders to clutches especially on awd.

I saw a race between a 1968 Hemi Dart and a WRX. last summer. Talk about humbling. With Mickey Thompson slicks and a Hurst 4 speed, The Dart absolutely SMOKED the WRX. It was embarrasing. To knock down or make fun of either car is wrong. They both represent american muscle. They are both awsome. Chevy, Ford, and Mopar all win and all rule.

I Love both of those cars. I think that they both were driven poorley. The Torino's engine has primitive smog equipment which kills alot of its power. An earlier 302 From say the late sixties had more power than the 351 in that car.

Thats true. I remember cars had solid steel bodies with a real chassis underneath. Not all of this plastic and aluminum crap we have today. Today's modern car has alot more technology, but no class/ chrome

Both of those cars are awesome. I'm sure that the camaro could have gone faster. Did something break? I seemed like it died out or lost traction at the beginning. Great Vid!

Great vid. Too bad they dont build cars like that anymore. The Slant Six was one of the best.
