    VCR's in US/Canada almost always have RF ch3/ch4 output. An ubiquitous 75/300 ohm adapter and you're up and running.

    DVD? You'll do the same thing, but you'll also need an RF modulator (just as you would need with a 1990's color TV), about $ 15 at most stores that sell electronics.

    One important thing to notice was the strong "ghosting" in the analog picture before the shutoff - caused by multipath, signals bouncing off of structures or hills, much the same way your voice bouncing off a wall will cause an echo. This, quite often, KILLS digital TV reception

    The film speed selector switch (on this camera, above the lens) must be set to agree with the film. "75" ("COLOR" on older cameras) for FP-100b or FP-100c, "3000" ("B&W") for FP-3000B.

    The beeps are most likely from RWM, the Russian time signal, which, during certain minutes, sends a short CW pulse every second on 9996kHz
