this was a cold start in the dead of winter. Rx-7s have accelerated warm-up built into the throttle body. After it warms up it goes to its normal 850 idle.

most people that buy RX's buy them for the uniqueness of the rotorary. If you want a large displacement engine to power your car then go right on ahead with your v8 but, i personally love to smile at v8's when im smoking them with my "feeble" 1.3 liter rotory.

(cont) you will have a lot of white smoke and backfires and you will have to fight to keep the engine running. You can also seafoam it. I seafoamed my FD and my idle smoothed out and the throttle response got a little crisper.

There might be heat radiating off of the turbo but, that doesn't mean ice can form before the compressor.... For example take a paper towel and wet it then flatten it tight across your mouth (symbolizing the turbo) and suck air in. After you are done feel the spot you were sucking air through i...
