TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

My family is of Iroquois / Scottish descent. You could say I fill my fry bread with a bit of haggis.
I have been divorced since 1995 but have 2 wonderful daughters whom I am very proud of.
I was born in Pennsylvania as were much of my family but now reside in scenic Oregon which I now call my home. Here in the Northwest I can find peace on much land still untouched by industry and real estate. I have learned much here from the tribes of the Lakota, Warm Springs and Grand Ronde. The Northwestern Pacific coast is beautiful beyond description. The mighty coastal Redwood forest of Northern California is my special sacred place of prayer and healing.
I love animals with all my heart and am strongly opposed to cruelty toward them. This does not mean I am a vegetarian or that I am opposed to killing what is necessary to feed ourselves, but to deliberately cause an animal pain and suffering through neglect or sadistic pleasure should render the abuser to be punished likewise! Despite what the ignorant speak, animals DO know love, they DO have feelings and they DO have a soul and should be treated with due respect.
Music has always been my passion. Music is a celebration of life and an expression of the soul. Guitar, bass, synth, Indian flute and drum are just a few of my valued instruments. I own my own studio and enjoy recording. I will post some of my latest ambient works on Youtube as soon as I can secure the copyrights. Comedy is also essential to my heart since laughter is heap good medicine.
I follow no organized religion. My path is to be guided by the Grandfather alone. We cannot deny the fact of how religious fanaticism has wrought horrific crimes against humanity. No matter who we are, we are all born the same way into our Earth Mother, and to her our bodies will return. The destiny of our soul depends on whether we choose to attract positive or negative energy in life. Grandfather, who has many names yet is one above all existence, does not judge us by our belief system but by our hearts.
I extend my hand in friendship to all people of all nations. I judge no person by their skin color or personal beliefs. To respect others shows strength and character, To downgrade them shows great weakness. I'm sure we've all had a chuckle at ethnic jokes but life is too short to waste it by hating one another. It's a sad thing when I surf Youtube and see a lot of the ignorant hateful remarks left in the comment sections that are just flat out uncalled for. I hold a great intolerance for cyber-bullies who spill their brainless and often racist verbal sewage upon good people with feelings. I have done my share at having many of these troublemakers successfully removed from YT so they will have time to re-enlist into grade school and learn some manners.
I am of a peaceful spirit, but to threaten that peace toward my friends and I means the wardance begins!
I choose to keep my channel flowing in positive energy.
