To get rid of hiccups: after the first one just lift your arms in the air above your head. You want to do it right after the first hiccup though. You feel a little silly doing this, but it totally works and does not require anything else like water.

A really pretty way to store them is in a clear glass jar with a lid similar to what some people put flour/sugar in for baking. It allows you to see what's in there so you don't get a bunch of duplicates, and it looks very attractive sitting in your bathroom or in your linen closet or wherever....
