Looking back on it now I think it was tremendous writing. The original plan was that Luke was never to be seen again after 13 weeks. Turning the story around slowly the way they did - after they realized what a great team TG and GF were -, so that we all fell in love with them in the end - amazing!
I'm not the jealous type... lol
