Years ago i heard a story about Ali (R.A.):

There was a war between the Muslim and the Müsrik(Polytheists).Ali took part at this war.He fought against a Müsrik and defeat him.When he was about to give the final mortal strike the Müsrik spit on Ali.Ali stood still turned around and went away.The Müsrik was puzzled.He shouted"Where are you going!"Ali turned again faced the Müsrik then he respond"When we fight I was fighting for Allah.When I was about to kill you i was doing this for Allah.But when you spit on me i become angry and I almost killed you for me for my anger"After this explanation Ali went away.The Müsrik was just astonished and looked up on Ali.He admired Islam and Ali for his love and loyality to God.This experience made him become a Muslim and me thinking again Islam is the truth and Ali is Esedullah(lion of Allah (C.C.)
