I was going to build a GPZ1100 engine and modify it into a KZ frame,but decided to mod the KZ engine instead...less hassle.Punched out the KZ1000 engine to 1105 and with cams and carbs and some head-work,it hauls ass for an old-school bike.

Still have most of the GPZ ...

Some mentioned that it wasn't neccessary to install the tak-strip under the stairnose.I see that you did it, to create a gap at the rise,to help lock in the trim piece...good stuff!
