Anyone else humming where the bass line would be in the beginning?

I don't think this really is a good comparison. They all have their own ways of playing which makes each of them unique. They're all good guitarists but I think Slash's style fit GNR the best...that bluesy style of soloing to fit the music that influenced them.

Overall, good list. But IMO, Billy Sheehan needs to be up there.

IMO, I think Van Halen was better. I think this because they released more than one good album. And for the record, I've listened to all the Slash Era GNR albums. Now don't get me wrong, UYI I and II had good songs but as an album not as great as Van Halen's next albums. But both bands rock!!

See I don't think they're as preachy as other bands or groups I've heard. But then again, since I believe it, I don't think it's that bad. But I can fully see how people could hate people being preachy and pushy. Everyone has their own opinion.
