The scenes between Alf and Minnie are very sweet. And I love when romance sneeks up on somebody (in this case, Alf), but I'm hoping for someone elce for Alf. Minnie is just a little too spacey and Alf is salt of the earth. And just a shout out to other Lark Rise fans...I'm so glad there are ot...

Have you been watching Larkrise to Candleford?? It's not a romance, but a BBC TV series. Based on a series of books, its late Victorian (I believe) drama that's very dear. It's on you tube. But I love North and South!!!!!!!!
