My name is Pauline Alexander. I am an emerging Glaswegian folk singer/songwriter.

I was in a band called Washington Street between 2007 and 2008 having played in a number of venues across the central belt of Scotland. The band was a 4-Piece Vocal Harmony Function Band. in 2008, the band decided to go its separate ways and allowed me to pursue a solo career.

Last year my debut album, 'Thoughts For The Masses' was released. This is a blend of original works of material created by myself and other songwriters as well a couple of more familiar numbers within a bare acoustic setting. In January 2011 my album was the featured album of the week on BBC Scotland (Iain Anderson show).The album is currently available as a download on a temporary basis,it will then be re-released later this year.

I am due to play the 'Arran folk Festival' in June 9th 2011.
