About Me:
I record my songs using a Tascam dp01-fxcd 8 track digital recorder. I don't use the computer for any recording or mixing. I'm old school and I like things the way they were. I play an early 70's Yamaha FG150 acuostic guitar, a 1977 ibanez 2351av standard electric guitar, a Rogue bass guitar, Boss ME-25 effects, Alesis SR16 drum machine, and a cheap Yamaha keyboard.

Came over from CL. As an age old fan of Neil Diamond of course I really dig the voc. I like most of the songs but the music could be better on some. We should collab on some recordings sometime, you do voc and I'll do the music, I like to write too so maybe share in some writing too. Cheers!

Hey man.. drifted over here by chance. Here's my two cents.. great voice. Music = meh. I know you aren't in this for the money or anything.. but if you could somehow get the music to support/match your voice a bit more, I think your sound could have some legs. Think Nick Cave... Morphine... even Johnny Cash... along those lines. Yah, you sound a bit like Diamond, but let that go. Maybe try a more acoustic sound and give a shot at serious lyrics? Here is a tip if you are stuck for words (this has worked for me)... find some famous foreign singers, take their lyrics from online, put it through Babelfish or whatever, then cut and paste/reconfigure and call it your own! Nothing is original. Just don't let people know where you steal from!

yea, i do play in the same key alot of the time because i have less than 50% mobility in my left hand due to an accident. i don't use it as an escuse but it's just a fucking fact. i'd rather spend my time playing my guitar, than retuning it to different keys all day. but as far as the rest of what WitWonFilms1 says, i call BULLSHIT!!!! i don't think my song are all the same.

I don't know Neil Diamond or any of the [references] I guess you're coming from, but I liked the song, thought it was well done, and I think your voice is great. I'm a big fan of unique sounds (voices, especially) and this was nice. Keep it up.
