His highest note played on this was a Double G. His tone and musicality is amazing, but the range of this isn't really all that high for a lead player. Any decent college lead player would have command of the same range. Having said that, he's a great player and deserves every good thing that...

I'm a little past school age. I'll just have to be content with being one of her best friends and playing with her at the ITG conference this summer. I certainly sing her praises to any and all who are still of college age, though. :)

oruga101, my name is Steve Bottom. I transferred in to Lafayette my senior year from Bryan Station, a high school across town.

The fabulous soloists in this performance are Scott Heersche, trumpet and Chip Dennison, Trombone. One of my favorite Lafayette shows of all time. This is the year when Steve Moore's rebuilding project really started to roll.

The drum major's name was Liz Brady. She was also an excellent clarinet player, having been a four year member of the All State Symphonic Band (1st chair for three of those years). She attended Yale on an academic scholarship. Oh yeah, she was also gorgeous.
