@flystagg I feel the same way. It's getting increasingly harder to find plain straight edge knives in certain models. I too prefer the straight edge.

Others have already said it but it bears repeating. Hold the striker firm and pull the ferro rod away from the striker. Don't bare down so hard. That ferro rod you used should have sent maya dust up in flames the very first strike if used correctly and if the dust wasn't moist.

@chainlink1 I also started carrying a SAK the hercules to be exact. It does everything the Cs4 does and more. probably wont get another Leatherman unless I see an improvement in their quality by checking out someone elses recent model.

Tried Dr Color Chip paint touch up system. It worked semi well but when dry the color was a different shade than when it was applied. How does this system compare to Dr Color Chip and does the paint match exactly when dry as it does wet? Does this method leave blobs or excess paint run off of drips?
