16 is not bad for a low gear truck, and is yours a manual or auto? my 87 is a 4 speed manual, and the first gear is granny- low.. so i dont think it will do so great on mpg. and with the exhaust on yours, does it flow about the same out of each pipe? because i saw one truck that had the same setu...
