@maggymoonful - I totally agree, beautiful voice!..this is flipside to the 45 of Tell Laura I Love Her.

Ray Peterson is an old favoriteof mine, and even Roy Hamilton's voice could not outdo Ray's version...I still have his long play (33) record...together with other 45s. Such a voice, ranging in different octaves!

Ah, I guarantee you this is Jerry Fuller...I have my old 45 still intact, with this song flipsided by Guilty of Loving You!

This was the winning piece in the first contest I joined singing Unchained Melody at the Darigold Jamboree in Tacloban City way back 60's. The winner was a guy who really sang Ebb Tide so well, just like the original..I was then only 12, the winner was already binata.

Of all Jerry Fuller's songs, this was the first song I memorized at age 11, to me then so meaningful...I really miss those singers of old, so much SOUL in their songs, and esp in their VOICES!
