I would create a mold first out of cheap particleboard or what have you. I have never bent 3/4in bamboo ply.IMHO ,it would be difficult to bend cold. I would use stock at minimum of 1/16 to 3/32 in , using urea formaldehyde resin glue or marine grade epoxy.or titebond exterior glue..You will...

You can buy sets/kits from grizzly and other suppliers. For a first build , just use leftover shop scraps of wood. You will make a lot of mistakes, but that is part of the learning curve.
