just trying to credit some of the so called pioneers of the genre, never said i was even a fan of napalm death (personally don't really care for them). and i would definitely say grind is influenced by metal.. even hardcore punk on its own doesn't hit hard enough.. not saying your wrong either, ...

grindcore goes way harder than most underground death metal bands IMO. not much can hang with this...
