I didn't know you could put two 1010's in the same system. Do you actually have 2 sound cards in the same tower or did you link the input boxes somehow? I have a 1010, I might try it too. But I still use Cubase.

The peavey seems to have a lot of high gain, I actually dug the Jsx and rect tones. The Fender sounded slightly more real to me though. I am a peavey jsx 212 owner, and I own a fender m-80 chorus half stack.

Dude you should show your setup, cause that sounds super clean for a portastudio. Especially when the cassette is being split into 8 tracks. Awesome! Music is a little odd for me, but the talent is definately apparent both recording and writing.
