I do guitar covers, but I might be throwing in some bass covers soon. I'm mostly self-taught, but I've looked up a few online lessons here and there. Despite the fact I've been playing guitar for 5 years, and bass for about 3 years, I am still nowhere NEAR as good as I should be for someone who's been playing that long (I'll get there eventually with enough practice. You know what they say, practice makes perfect!) Despite that fault, I am a massive gear nerd. (Too bad money is tight for me right now). As for tabs, I get them from Ultimate-Guitar.com (though I sometimes learn by ear as well). As for genres, I mainly play pop rock and modern hard rock, though I may throw in the occasional classic rock, nu metal, or ____-core cover once in a while.

I may also do the occasional Guitar Hero/Rock Band vid. Although I do play on Expert, I'm only your average Joe at those games, so don't expect anything elite from me for a while.

I also want to learn drums, but I don't have the money for a good set yet. However, one of my Rock Band discs has an in-game drum trainer so pretty soon I'll be hunkering down with it so I can get a decent start.
