Taekema & Zijlstra BV

T&Z BV is a company which has over 17 years experience in the market. In the beginning both owners Jacob Taekema and Fritz Zijlstra were working in the dairy systems and thought they could improve on this, and very soon after starting the company they got some orders to make machines for the bag industry, mainly for printing and stacking, jute, polypropolene and paper bags. This began the start of the companies entry into the market of stainless steel machinery. Today T&Z is still very much active in a high tech way. Mr Zijlstra has left the management in 2005, and since then the company has grown and taken on more employees, in order to get a solid base for success in the market. Around 12 years ago T&Z made a start in the plastic industry, by engineering and producing robotic systems for plastic moulding machines and we also make trayhandling systems and robotic interfaces for taking the product out of the mould and placing them into trays.
