Its a 406 sbc, and he is thinking its a stroker because the same crank is used to make the 383 in the 350 block. 406 has big bore and stroke. Put a set of 6 inch rods and pistons and you can get some rpms out of it. I have 84 SS Monte 406 and 73 nova 454 ls6 build.

Im build a 73 nova. I just bought a 454 with the peanut port heads. Can you give me some ideals? Car sounds good I would be happy with that. I want a nice street car thanks. I keep hearing I waisted my money on them heads.
