BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Tattoo Barbie made her big release in London Thursday, and there seems to be mixed feeling about the doll.
Some parents say it's just not the right thing for young girls.
When the girls get older, like 29 and they want to get a tattoo that's their own decision, but I think that's too young of an age to start giving them that idea, said Robyn Lawson who is a concerned parent.
Other parents dont think it is a very big issue.
There are a lot of places that give away the temporary tattoos, said Carrie Harrington. I guess my kids always view them more as stickers than tattoos.
Part of the problem is a picture that is circulating on the web.
It shows Barbie with a tattoo on her lower back. The Barbie is a fake, thought.
Tattoo Barbie by Mattel is just cupcakes and teddy bears which can be applied anywhere.
Tattoo Barbie comes with a tat applicator that can be used on Barbie or the girls playing with her.

NOTE: I borrowed a lot from someone you should all check out! Mike Mozart, professional toy reviewer! Thanks Mike, sorry for not asking permission. WARNING!: Contains horrible singing, sorry, no one was available at the time except for me, so we will all just have to suffer as we listen X(. also, the reason the piano and voice dont match is cuz i recorded the voice first, bad decision!
My seventh video, (dont worry, soon i'll stop counting), and the sixth in a series of 8 commercials. Here's an explanation for what these commercials are for: this vid is a part of a series of fake "commercials" that I made for, once again, my college Rhetoric class. This was my semester final (along with the other videos) and the project was supposed to be humerous with some sort of deep underlying meaning. My deep meaning was something along the lines of "parents freak out too much about certain kids toys/parents can be too overprotective..."ya, something like that. So here is the third video/commercial in a series of 8, please watch the rest too! some are funnier than others!
ps. yep, its still my voice, and sadly, my singing. any alterations were done using audacity.
Confused as to what's being said? Here's the script for this commercial: (♪growing up is so much fun, growing up, cant wait til im done!♪) Mattel, makers of your best friend Barbie, present Growing Up Skipper and Friends! Watch as Skipper grows from a little girl into a teenager in seconds! Just rotate her arm and watch as Skipper grows taller and developes,...curves! also, meet skipper's friend from Silicon Valley, Amy! Amy grows up too, except for her you simply rotate the dial on her back and watch her transform into a pubescent teenager in seconds! Amy and Skipper arent the only members of the growing up line, meet Happy Family Barbie! Barbie's about to give birth and it's up to you to see her through the delivery! Watch as Barbie skips over hours of labor and gives birth in seconds! No screaming, no pain, and no afterbirth for Barbie, and also watch as she instantly gains her perfect figure back! Give birth again and again with Happy Family Barbie. Barbie wants you to notice her beautiful wedding ring! BAbies outside of wedlock are a big no-no in Barbie's world. check out the growing up barbie line up today, and watch for other mattel upcoming products such as the soon to come Growing Up Ken!
